Chick Pea and Kale Bowl Recipe - Eternal Delight

Our Chick Pea & Kale Veggie Bowl Recipe is Simple & Quick to Make, While Nourishing & Satisfying. Great Raw Energy for an Active & Holistic Lifestyle.

Having a veggie-based bowl is simple and nourishing. 

Serves 2
1/2 cup chic peas
4–5 stalks kale, stemmed
2–3 stalks chard
1 tbsp curry powder
1 tsp paprika powder
1 tbsp sesame seeds or tahini paste
2 tbsp chopped almonds
1 tbsp olive oil
1⁄2 lemon, juiced
sea salt
fresh ground pepper
Optional: 1 tsp Maca Parmesan 

If using raw chic peas - in a pot, warm chic peas with a little bit of water, a pinch of sea salt, and the curry and paprika powder. Allow the chic peas to absorb the curry and paprika powder. In so doing, they should take on a yellow tint.

If using canned chic peas, then simply heat them lightly in a pot with a little water.

Either way, at the same time, steam the kale and chard so they soften. In a bowl, add chic peas and top with the steamed kale and chard. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and almonds pieces.

Drizzle olive oil and fresh squeezed lemon overtop, and season with fresh ground pepper.

Note: If you use tahini paste it is recommended to combine tahini with olive oil and lemon juice so that you can make a dressing like sauce. Drizzle over kale and chard.
Optional: sprinkle with Maca Parmesan >>
